Project Overview:

Mr. Robert is a medical device designer in the US.In October 18, 2016, Robert found “www.StartPrototyping.com” by search for “medical prototype machining” on google. Because of the limited budget, Mr. Robert first thought of looking for a trustworthy rapid prototyping manufacturer in China. In general, the same quality of prototype machining in China will be reduced by 30%-50% compared with that in Europe and America.

Start Prototyping could finish the medical prototype machining in 7 days, and the logistics is sent to Robert’s address in only 4-7 days. It is exciting that the price is within the budget of Robert, so our cooperation has been made for the first time.

At first, the order quantity was only 1, which was used to test the machining capability of Start Prototyping.On October 26, 2015, Robert received the prototype and was excited to be fully in line with his design and planned to enter into a long-term partnership with Start Prototyping.

After receiving the first medical prototype, Robert carried out rigorous quality inspecting on the prototype, which was fully in line with the design.we have established a long-term partnership.

The operator chooses to use the split method to machine the medical prototype. The 3D drawings of the medical prototype are being analyzed. Consider the difficulties in machining and provide a series of solutions.

The successful assembly of the medical prototype fully meets the expectations of the designer.

On November 15, 2016, we further explored some issues in mass production. Mr. Robert plans to produce 50 medical prototypes and requires prototype machining within 20 days.

On November 24, 2017, Start Prototyping has completed the production of 50 medical prototypes. Through the quality testing of CMM, the tolerance is within the desired range.

After finishing the medcial parts, It takes 5 days to ship it to Seattle via fedex. As of June 2018, Start Prototyping has produced nearly 600 pcs of prototypes for Mr. Robert.
